I. The Aether
Before the world had a name, there was only a huge, glowing mist called the Aether. Inside this mist lived the Soulwanders, flickering sparks of light that had thoughts and feelings but no bodies to call their own.
II. The Great Forge
Everything changed when a massive explosion happened, known as the Great Forge, ripped through the mist. This explosion created the physical world of Izumo, separating raw pieces of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air across the land.
III. The Wanderers
Once a Soulwander grabbed onto an element, they became a Wanderer. Those who landed in the volcanic peaks became tough and hot-headed, while those who fell into the deep oceans became fluid and calm.
